Dead First (2026) Johnny Compton "Dead First is a propulsive and eerie tale that questions the true price of revenge. Gripping to the final word, this is my favorite kind of supernatural thriller."
The Body (2026) Bethany C Morrow "The Body is a novel filled to the brim with dark secrets and harsh revelations. Morrow proves she is a master of character as she imbues each one with duality and depth. Muddying the waters between the unholy and the divine, The Body asks readers to embark on a journey that is no ordinary crisis of faith."
Crafting for Sinners (2025) Jenny Kiefer "Devilishly clever. Every page of Crafting for Sinners is packed with scathing satire, unique horrors, and stunning honesty."
A Blood as Bright as the Moon (2025) Andrea Morstabilini "A BLOOD AS BRIGHT AS THE MOON is a bold new entry into the vampire genre. I've never read a novel that so deftly merges brutality and hope in each and every line. Just as eviscerating as it is healing, Morstablini's English debut is a decadently dark adventure."
Salt Bones (2025) Jennifer Givhan "Visceral and compelling, Jennifer Givhan's Salt Bones beautifully explores the dark complexities of mother-daughter relationships. Satisfyingly saturated with mystery and mythology, Salt Bones is a book that stays with you. Readers will be haunted long after the final page."
The Memory Ward (2025) Jon Bassoff "The Memory Ward is a nesting doll of horror and suspense. Bassoff artfully crafts a novel that questions morality, free will, and what makes us human. Compelling from the first page to the last."
Ruin Road (2024) Lamar Giles "A refreshing tale with twists you'll never see coming. Giles crafts an action-packed story, filled with both real-life and supernatural terrors. Ruin Road pulls your heartstrings tight and keeps you on your toes!"
What You Leave Behind (2024) Wanda M Morris "In What You Leave Behind, Morris expertly weaves together a beautifully soulful mystery rooted in history. This is a story that reminds us of how the past, present and future intertwine to inform and guide our lives. Drenched in folklore and compelling to the final page, this book stirs the connection between our ancestors and ourselves, calling us to action."
You Know What You Did (2024) K T Nguyen "Eerie and unexpectedly emotional, You Know What You Did is a deceptive roller coaster ride. Nguyen's expertly crafted thriller layers in the intricate experience of being a first-gen immigrant daughter to create a story that stays with you long after its shocking conclusion."
Nestlings (2023) Nat Cassidy "Finished Nestlings by Nat Cassidy and have already been recommending it left and right. So, so creepy. Well placed dashes of dark humor. Kept me on my toes till the very end!"
What Kind of Mother (2023) Clay McLeod Chapman "Equal parts terrifying and beautiful. Chapman crafts a folk tale that slides under your skin and burrows its way into your heart. Visceral. Surprising. Stunning. Not to be missed."
