Amy Briggs

Amy Briggs is a full-time romance author, editor, and lifelong storyteller who loves writing big-hearted heroes, unforgettable friend groups, and happily-ever-afters that readers can't stop thinking about.

Her contemporary romances blend humor, heat, emotional depth, and the kind of found-family dynamics that make readers wish they could pull up a chair in the locker room. Whether she's writing hockey players, firefighters, rock stars, or small-town heroes, Amy believes the best love stories are built on heart, loyalty, and just enough chaos to keep life interesting.

Before becoming a full-time author, Amy spent seven years as a firefighter and EMT in New Jersey. She now lives in Texas, where she owns and operates an MMA gym with her brother, teaches women's self-defense, and holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. When she isn't writing, she's usually reading romance, taking hockey skating lessons for "research," learning to play the drums, or convincing herself that adopting one more rescue animal is a perfectly reasonable decision.

Amy loves connecting with readers and sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses into her books, so be sure to join the Phoenix Sidewinders and follow along on social media for sneak peeks, giveaways, and upcoming releases.
