Captivity won first place in the Glimmer Train Fiction Open and was included in THE BEST AMERICAN SHORT STORIES 2010; it was also selected for inclusion inNEW STORIES FROM THE MIDWEST, published by Ohio University Press. Geni lives in Chicago.
