Beth Hautala is a former associate magazine editor, and copy writer. Her work has appeared in Lake Country Journal Magazine and Forget Magazine, as well as in various advertising media. She now owns and operates Red House Media, an advertising agency, with her husband. They live in Minnesota with their four children. WAITING FOR UNICORNS, out from Phiomel/Penguin, is Beth's first novel.
