Fran Littlewood recommends

Tilda is Visible (2025)
Jane Tara
"Fun, freeing, and wise, Tilda Is Visible is a manual, a manifesto for those of us (all of us?) who are still so hard on ourselves-even though we're old enough to know better!"

The Life Cycle of the Common Octopus (2025)
Emma Knight
"Wonderfully crafted, Emma Knight's story of friendship, family secrets and first love made me nostalgic about the act of reading itself. Mystery, intrigue, posh Scots and academia, it's a book to lose yourself in. Pro tip: carry it around the house, like I did, for maximum snatched read-time. A beautifully written, page-turning delight!"

She's a Killer (2021)
Kirsten McDougall
"Darkly funny, utterly terrifying . . . A powerful, pre-apocalyptic book that's an inspired scream at our fingers-in-ears approach to the climate crisis. I couldn't stop thinking about it"
