Seduction Theory (2025) Emily Adrian "I really loved Seduction Theory. A study of a marriage and a sharply observed campus novel, it had me chuckling away. David Lodge meets Charlotte Mendelson, with shades of Rachel Cusk, but with a style all Emily Adrian's own. This summer's smart, classy sun lounger read - you will LOVE it."
Fran Littlewood "Fran writes like a wilder, more breathless Claire Lombardo . . . A huge talent. Set over the course of a family reunion that goes very wrong, THE FAVOURITE is a layered, textured story about the reverberations of the past and secrets in a family, and a psychologically astute look at love and relationships. It's wonderful and very funny. You're in for such a treat. I LOVED it."
The Names (2025) Florence Knapp "The Names is extraordinary. Such clean, beautiful prose . . . Full of truths about nature and nurture, and the people we meet in our lives who can help us choose new paths."
The Days I Loved You Most (2024) Amy Neff "An epic love story and a sweeping family saga, The Days I Loved You Most is beautifully constructed and so poignant. Perfect for lovers of Anne Tyler, Claire Lombardo and Emma Straub. The New England setting stole my heart."
You Are Here (2024) David Nicholls "Marnie and Michael are two characters who I will carry in my heart for a long time. This is a love story for all ages, an epic journey, a moving tale of second chances. I don't know how David does it but his characters are real to me, and I know I will want to go back to them, to re-read You Are Here, the way I have his other novels."
Meet Me When My Heart Stops (2024) Becky Hunter "A beautiful and moving love story with a heroine you will fall in love with, but also so much more than that. It is about imperfect families, struggling with single life, struggling with finding a career path. It's about mothers and sisters and fathers. And most of all it is about seizing the now and not always living for some future that may not exist. You will ADORE this book!"
73 Dove Street (2023) Julie Owen Moylan "I loved it even more than Julie's debut That Green Eyed Girl. Soho in the 50s is brilliantly done, as are the female characters. Brava Julie!"
This Family (2023) Kate Sawyer "Every nuance of mother and daughters and sister relationships is vividly explored. Beautifully written, it expertly weaves the past with the present, building the tension, so you have to turn the pages."
Bad Summer People (2023) Emma Rosenblum "Whip-smart, gossipy, beachy vibes, with page-turning thrills. Like Rivals meets Malibu Rising with Nancy Mitford-esque observations. The ultimate beach read with edge. Loved it."
This Could be Everything (2023) Eva Rice "The most gorgeous feel-good story about love and grief and how the smallest things can start a journey of healing."
