I love creating a fictional world in which my readers can immerse themselves for a few hours. I especially loved creating the fictional world of the wealthy Belleville family, their lives, loves, secrets, betrayals and disappointments.

The Belleville story is centred on Australia but with strong international links - I enjoyed creating the characters of US Army doctor turned top surgeon Dr Philippe Duval and aristocratic Catherine Cavendish who swaps her English upper class upbringing for the Australian bush but struggles to settle.

My country upbringing in Australia is the bedrock on which my Belleville books evolved. I remember my father's stories of American soldiers camping near his farm in Australia during the war and so began the fictional love story of Julia Belleville and the American Philippe Duval.

I am passionate about writing fiction, especially for women readers.
