Charlotte Runcie is a British author and arts journalist. Her books include the lyrical memoir Salt on Your Tongue (Canongate, 2019) and her debut novel, Bring the House Down (Doubleday - US, The Borough Press - UK, 2025).
Alongside her longform writing, she has spent over a decade covering arts and culture as a career journalist writing for newspapers and magazines including The Telegraph, The Times (London), and The Guardian. She is a former Foyle Young Poet of the Year.
