Hannah Richell recommends

Deception (2026)
Jack Jordan
"Jack Jordan's propulsive, high-stakes thriller about ordinary people forced to do unthinkable things grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. I binged it in two sittings, like a favourite, high-concept Netflix thriller. What a ride!"

Start at the End (2026)
Emma Grey
"Powerful, perceptive, and cleverly woven, Emma Grey's Start at the End is a luminous, must-read novel about love, loss, and those sliding doors moments that can transform a life. Fiction doesn't come with more heart, humour, or hard-won truth than this. I loved it."

The Sunshine Man (2025)
Emma Stonex
"Some books grab you by the throat, others by the heart. The Sunshine Man seizes both then refuses to let go. Threaded through with a deep, unfurling sense of dread, yet dazzling in its tenderness and heart, this compelling literary thriller cements Emma Stonex's place as one of our brightest literary talents. A masterful achievement."
