Lindy Ryan recommends

Carry Me to My Grave (2026)
Christopher Golden
"Golden writes horror the way it should be written: propulsive, relentless, and monstrous. With prose as sharp as bones and tension that creeps under your skin and tangles through your veins, Carry Me to My Grave takes root in the dark - and refuses to die. A roaring, bloody, feral ride."

How to Fake a Haunting (2025)
Christa Carmen
"A table-turning thrill ride that chases you to the very end. Carmen puts a terrifying new spin on what it means to be haunted."

Futility (2025)
Nuzo Onoh
"A visceral descent into the grotesque underbelly of desire, power, and ancestral wrath. Onoh conjures a story as culturally rich as it is deliciously depraved."
