The Fourth Wife (2026)
Linda Hamilton
"Some haunts go deeper than ghosts. Vividly written by a historically-trained author, Hamilton offers a multidimensional portrait of polygamy from within the Mormon community while centering the women. Though set in the past, The Fourth Wife holds up a mirror to the present and dares us to look. A thrilling debut."

The Entirely True Story of the Fantastical Mesmerist Nora Grey (2025)
Kathleen Kaufman
"The Entirely True Story of the Fantastical Mesmerist Nora Grey wields the gripping tensions between power and subordination, faith and fraud, hope and rage, talent and exploitation. By braiding two timelines featuring two, gifted young women who share an undeniable connection, Kaufman creates an enduring tale about women's fight for self-determination in a world pitted against them. This haunting story summons the best of historical fiction and magical realism."
