Colin Walsh recommends

The Benefactors (2025)
Wendy Erskine
"A truly remarkable novel - The Benefactors is both intimate and panoramic, full of clear-eyed compassion and wry wit, and with a cast of characters so vividly drawn it feels like you've known them all your life. This is powerful, masterful storytelling by one of the most exciting writers at work today."

Fair Play (2025)
Louise Hegarty
"Dazzling, formally subversive, brimming with compassion, Fair Play explodes the conventions of a mystery in order to confront us with the genuinely mysterious. An emotional ambush of a novel, this book will delight readers - then it will haunt them."

Wild Ground (2024)
Emily Usher
"A glittering exploration of love's many faces, Wild Ground aches with hard-won hope and bruised tenderness."
