USA flag

Ryan La Sala grew up in Connecticut, but only physically. Mentally, he spent most of his childhood in the worlds of Sailor Moon and Xena: Warrior Princess, which perhaps explains all the twirling. He studied Anthropology and Neuroscience at Northeastern University before becoming a project manager specialized in digital tools. He technically lives in New York City, but has actually transcended material reality and only takes up a human shell for special occasions, like brunch, and to watch anime (which is banned on the astral plane). Reverie is Ryan's debut novel. You can visit him at ryanlasala.com.

The Bad Ones (2024)
Melissa Albert
"Unholy, vengeful, and utterly captivating. The Bad Ones delivers on Melissa Albert's status as a modern horror master, and burns with a steady, corrosive clarity, not unlike a developing photograph revealing unseen evils."

Your Lonely Nights Are Over (2023)
Adam Sass
"Twisted, hysterical perfection - Adam Sass has a voice so sharp it's between your ribs before you know it. I couldn't read fast enough to outrun this killer thriller."

The Spirit Bares Its Teeth (2023)
Andrew Joseph White
"Andrew Joseph White continues to break boundaries into new, deeply chilling forms. The Spirit Bares Its Teeth is a merciless yet masterful dissection of gothic horror that spares no anesthesia, and thankfully so. The hauntings in these pages will find their way into you, so deep that nothing will be able to cut them out."
