Jessica Bull grew up in South East London, where she still lives with her husband, two daughters, and far too many pets. She's addicted to stories and studied English Literature at Bristol University, and Information Science at City University, London.
She began work as a librarian (under the false impression she could sit and read all day), before becoming a communications consultant. Miss Austen Investigates is her debut novel.

Barbara Havelocke
"Deliciously creepy and decidedly dark, I loved this foray into the mind of Dickens's most enigmatic heroine - It's so beautifully written, it gripped me from the very first sentence and would not let me go until I finished reading."
The Potting Shed Murder (2024)
(Hill House Vintage Murder Mystery, book 1)
Paula Sutton
"A really fun, fast-paced and atmospheric whodunnit. Perfect for fans of Agatha Raisin."
