Hannah Richell recommends

The Sunshine Man (2025)
Emma Stonex
"Some books grab you by the throat, others by the heart. The Sunshine Man seizes both then refuses to let go. Threaded through with a deep, unfurling sense of dread, yet dazzling in its tenderness and heart, this compelling literary thriller cements Emma Stonex's place as one of our brightest literary talents. A masterful achievement."

The Golden Hour (2025)
Kate Lord Brown
"Wonderfully escapist with beautifully drawn characters, stunning locations and an unashamedly romantic heart, The Golden Hour is a captivating story of female friendship, devastating tragedy and a long-buried secret coming into the light. If you love books by Dinah Jefferies or Santa Montefiore, you'll adore Kate Lord Brown's The Golden Hour."

The Close-Up (2024)
Pip Drysdale
"The Close-Up is dark, twisty, glamorous fun. It propels you headlong into a glossy world of fame and fortune, then takes a menacing turn to reveal the violence and darkness lurking behind the facade. A compulsive thriller that really gets under the skin, this book's sure to keep you up all night frantically turning the pages until every last twist is revealed."
