Rainbow Rowell

Rainbow Rowell writes books. Sometimes she writes about adults. Sometimes she writes about teenagers. But she always writes about people who talk a lot. And people who feel like theyre screwing up. And people who fall in love.

When she's not writing, Rainbow is reading comic books, planning Disney World trips and arguing about things that don't really matter in the big scheme of things. She lives in Nebraska with her husband and two sons.

American Fantasy (2026)
Emma Straub
"A delicious novel about being a grown-up girl who once loved something very, very much. You don't have to be a fan of something to love American Fantasy, but if you've ever truly devoted yourself to a boy band or a TV show or even a series of books, you will feel so understood by this novel. And then you'll keep reading, trying to understand yourself better."

Overdue (2025)
Stephanie Perkins
"Overdue is a beautifully human love story - my favorite Stephanie Perkins book yet."

K-Jane (2025)
Lydia Kang
"K-Jane is a heartwarming -- and incredibly clever -- novel about feeling at home in yourself. Lydia Kang writes with such extraordinary compassion for her characters. You'll feel for Jane and root for Jane and love what Jane loves -- including her hometown of Omaha, Nebraska."
