Martha Conway recommends
The amendment (2018)
Anne Leigh Parrish
"Honest, heartfelt and funny...I loved going on this road trip with a wonderfully flawed heroine who finds herself capable of real love and real change."
Answer Creek (2020)
Ashley E Sweeney
"Intimate, engrossing, and personal - this novel is so much more than the story of the Donner Party. It is the story of a budding young woman: her loves, her hopes, and her generous spirit in the midst of an unfolding tragedy. As I read this engrossing novel I forgot I knew - or thought I knew - the story that inspired it. Sweeney captures both the highs and lows of human behavior with each gripping scene."
The Aloha Spirit (2020)
Linda Ulleseit
"The Aloha Spirit is heartbreaking and hopeful, with a story as rugged and beautiful as the landscape. Linda Ulleseit has written a wonderfully immersive story, with prose so vivid I could practically feel the ocean breezes on every page."
