Leonora Nattrass

Leonora Nattrass pursued her enthusiasm for late-eighteenth and early-nineteenth century literature and politics to PhD level, and lectured in English for nearly ten years. She now lives in a seventeenth-century Cornish farmhouse with seventeenth-century draughts, writing historical fiction and spinning the fleeces of her traditional Ryeland sheep into yarn.

The Underhistory (2024)
Kaaron Warren
"A remarkable tour de force of a novel from a master storyteller. The structure of the novel is innovative and the tension never flags, while Pera is an extraordinary and satisfyingly ambiguous narrator. Startlingly good."

What We Did In The Storm (2024)
Tina Baker
"Tina Baker brings a cast of disturbed - and disturbing - characters to the Scilly Isles with all her usual razor sharp flair. Tense and gripping from start to finish."

The House on Rye Lane (2024)
Susan Allott
"A very fine writer with a fierce intelligence. The House on Rye Lane had me terrified."
