The Many (2026)
Sylvain Neuvel
"The Many is an absolute joy, building from a twisty thriller with unique and ambitious viewpoints to a conceptual work of stupendous scale. All at once it is a black romp and a fervent hope, told with an absurdist's light touch even as it delves through the darkness."

Shield Maiden (2023)
Sharon Emmerichs
"Fantastic fun... An entrancing story of power and peril, presenting a side to the sagas we have never seen before."

The Children of Gods and Fighting Men (2022)
(Gael Song, book 1)
Shauna Lawless
"An epic historical fantasy that weaves myth and history into an sprawling tale of magic, intrigue, and war. Through the perspectives of Gormflaith and Fodla we pass through the years at a breakneck speed... Lawless weaves a complex and enticing narrative: there are plots and counterplots, and we move through the years swiftly as these slow plans grow to fruition. The intricacies of life in tenth-century Ireland are lovingly portrayed, from the cultural mix of Vikings, Irish, and English, to the merchant markets full of traders from far off lands. A must-read for those who love Irish mythology and history. An absorbing and richly detailed historical fantasy."
