The Terraformers (2023)
Annalee Newitz
"The Terraformers is so engaging, you could almost miss the pyrotechnic world-building and bone-deep intelligence. Newitz continues doing some of the best work in the field."
thumb
The Light Brigade (2019)
Kameron Hurley
"Hurley is one of the most important voices in the field, and Light Brigade is some of her best work. This is the real thing."
thumb
Empire of Silence (2018)
(Sun Eater, book 1)
Christopher Ruocchio
"Empire of Silence is epic science fiction at its most genuinely epic. Ruocchio has made something fascinating here, and I can't wait to see what he does next."

The Man in the Tree (2017)
Sage Walker
"Sage Walker writes some of our genre's most beautiful prose, and somehow manages to wrap it around painstakingly researched science fiction with compelling characters and breathless plots. And this book might be her best work yet."
