Stina Leicht recommends

Foundling Fathers (2026)
Meg Elison
"Meg Elison delivers a satirical tale of arrogant billionaires so preoccupied with their attempt to re-create a mythical something (or in this case someones) they didn't stop to consider if they should."

The Photonic Effect (2026)
Mike Chen
"Mike Chen expertly combines the challenges of a First Contact story with creditable alien-y aliens, problem-solving under extreme pressure, and a romance. It's brilliant!"

This World is Not Yours (2024)
Kemi Ashing-Giwa
"A thrilling and intense mixture of love triangle and scientific hubris."
