Tracy Sierra recommends

How to Fake a Haunting (2025)
Christa Carmen
"How to Fake a Haunting is a poignant, frightening, and utterly original story about the ghosts that haunt families and the homes they create. By turns darkly funny, emotionally devastating, and memorably chilling, this book twists the horror genre in ways I never saw coming."

The Bone Thief (2025)
Vanessa Lillie
"The Bone Thief is not only a page-turning mystery of a missing Indigenous woman, but a gripping portrayal of the ways American history can reverberate beautifully, painfully, and even fatally into the present. Lillie will keep you guessing until the last, action-packed page."

The Man Made of Smoke (2025)
Alex North
"A haunting, atmospheric story about the long shadow evil casts on all it touches. Truly a white-knuckle read from start to finish."
