Viola Shipman recommends

Christmas in London (2017)
Anita Hughes
"What's better than being home for the holidays? Christmas in London! In this romantic novel, Anita Hughes gifts readers with London landmarks, fabulous food, British history, Christmas shopping at Harrods, star-crossed characters and the best holiday present of all -- love."

When All Is Said (2019)
Anne Griffin
"A deceptively powerful tale. Beneath the surface of seemingly simple lives lie stunning stories of love, heartbreak, humor, hope, tragedy, regret, and--most of all--humanity."

The Bitter and Sweet of Cherry Season (2020)
Molly Fader
"A stunning story about family and hope that unfolds unexpectedly but beautifully, like a Michigan summer sunset over an orchard."

Gilt (2022)
Jamie Brenner
"A summer sparkler about diamonds, revenge, family heirlooms, but--at its heart--the one thing we all desire most: Love. Gilt is a gem."

Paradise Girls (2022)
Sandy Gingras
"Paradise Girls is so much more than your typical beach read. Sandy Gingras' tightly written debut has important lessons at its charming core: We become our best selves again when we go on vacation, we often have to get lost to rediscover who we were meant to be and starting over is scary but ultimately can make our lives even more beautiful than a sunset over the ocean."
