Edwin Hill recommends

What Remains of You (2026)
Kimberly Hensle Lowrance
"What if the one person you trust most isn't who you believe they are? What steps will you take to fill in the missing gaps in their story? Those are the central questions that drive Hensle Lowrance's riveting debut, a story driven by loss and shame and dark secrets and, finally, by the love of those who touch our lives, warts and all. I loved What Remains of You, and so will fans of Laura Dave and Liane Moriarty!"

Down a Dark River (2021)
(Inspector Michael Corravan, book 1)
Karen Odden
"Sparkling prose, vivid description, a haunting and satisfyingly complex story . . . Down a Dark River a must read for fans of any genre of crime fiction."

By Way of Sorrow (2021)
(Erin McCabe, book 1)
Robyn Gigl
"This enthralling series debut features a twisty plot full of surprises and a cast of exciting characters--most notably tough, relatable defense-attorney Erin McCabe--all while diving into the mud of corrupt local politics. An original legal thriller that is sure to be among the year's best!"
