Full Throttle, the novella which appeared in Splatterpunks!, garnered Philip Nutman his first of four Bram Stoker Award nominations, and was reviewed to acclaim in The New York Times. In addition to novels, Nutman was a successful comic book and screenwriter. His comic book credits include Clive Barker's Hellraiser, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Evil Ernie: Destroyer, Chastity: Rocked, and the anthology series Nightmare Theater. As a screenwriter, he wrote over a dozen screenplays, including a controversial version of Jack Ketchum's infamous The Girl Next Door, and Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child's archaeological thriller Thunderhead.
