Julia Kelly writes sexy historical and contemporary romances about smart women and the men who love them. She picked up her first romance novel and the bad habit of reading well past her bedtime when she was 13. Years later as a Journalism graduate student at Columbia University, she decided to try writing romances of her own and never looked back. During the day, Julia is an Emmy-nominated journalist in New York City where she chases breaking news and bosses reporters around. She never met a pair of stilettos she didn't love and still stays up too late reading.

Julia Kelly recommends
The Chelsea Girls (2019)
Fiona Davis
"A dazzling story of loyalty, friendship, and betrayal in 1950s bohemian New York amid the danger of the Red Scare. It will leave readers wishing they could spend a night at the Chelsea Hotel for a taste of Broadway glamour and a well-shaken cocktail."
Spitfire (2020)
(Livy Nash Mystery, book 1)
M L Huie
"Gritty and glamorous, Spitfire races through the streets of post-war London and Paris in a twisting story of intrigue and betrayal . . . Livy Nash is exactly my kind of heroine."
Summer Darlings (2020)
Brooke Lea Foster
"Foster has written a compelling coming-of-age story that exposes the sparkling glamour and dark underbelly of the haves and have nots in the 1960s. Summer Darlings is utterly atmospheric and compelling."
