Kimmery Martin is an ER doctor residing in North Carolina with her husband and three young children. She is the book reviewer for the Southern parenting website Charlotte Smarty Pants and a member of the NC Writer's Network. A lifelong book nerd, Kimmery is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Charlotte Library. The Queen of Hearts is her first novel.
